If you need to move, the best way to start is contact a removals expert and ask for a quote. You can discuss your preferences with a consultant, and set a date for a pre-move survey if required. The pre-move survey can be done in person, or even better, we can do the survey by video call. If your move is small and straight forward, we can also quote you without doing a survey. You could simply send us an email, and we can based the price on that. Wisse Moving always provides detailed quotes in writing, so you don’t have any surprises on the moving day.
Packaging service
Our specialty is to do moves with a complete service. Our crew would bring all the necessary materials on the moving day, and we will take care of packaging personal items into boxes. We will also disassemble the furniture, and protect it. If you have any especially fragile items, like paintings, figurines or statues, or very large tv’s, then we can decide on doing a special wrapping. Upon delivery to your new home we will reassemble the furniture. Optionally we can unpack the boxes. Once we finish we will take away all the packing debris.
Outside elevator
Depending on the access situation, it might be necessary to collect or deliver the goods with an outside elevator. An outside elevator is a separate vehicle that can be placed on the fachade of the building. This enables to to collect or deliver large items that do not fit through the inside of the building. Collecting or delivering with an outside elevator is also much faster. Besides, we reduce the risk of damaging goods or damaging the property.
Parking permits for moving in Barcelona
For a move in Barcelona, a parking permit will always be required. Even if you have a loading/unloading area nearby. The loading/unloading zone only can be used during 30 minutes in Barcelona city. Without a parking permit, the truck has to leave this area. Unless you have a very small move that can be completed within half an hour, a parking permit will be necessary. Wisse Moving will take care of applying for the parking permits, and of reserving parking space. If we try do do a move without a permit, we would be fined and sent away.
Storage
If you have to leave you actual residence, but don’t have a new place yet, then Wisse Moving offer storage in Barcelona. We would pack and collect your goods, and storage them in our facilities on the outskirts of Barcelona. The storage facility is secure and dry. Your goods can be there until they can be delivered again. As we are an international moving company, we can deliver the goods anywhere in the world. We can also deliver them to a new home in Barcelona, or anywhere else in Spain. Anything is possible, just ask us!
